Best Time to Catch Lake Erie Crappie
You can target Lake Erie crappie all year, but in the spring is when it’s best. I fish in May a couple times per year. May is when crappie are grouped up shallow to spawn.

- Weed beds and lily pads – Early spring crappie stack up in these areas. Check the back bays past cedar point, toward Sandusky.
