The webcams typically face the water, so you can get a real time feel of the wind, storms, and wave height.

Since I live and fish in Ohio on Lake Erie, these are the webcams I use the most. In Ohio, there is a webcam located in just about every popular port and marina. This is very helpful for people that don’t live on Lake Erie. As you probably know, the wind can be totally different on the lake. Check out the below list of my most used webcams.

The Walnut Creek Webcam is the most viewed in Pennsylvania. Both of these webcams are useful for steelhead and walleye fishing the area. There are more webcams located on the creeks, but these focus closer to Lake Erie.
