Walleye Fish Filets

Step 1: Pepare the Walleye Filets
Prepare your walleye filets by defrosting and removing most of the water. The best way to dry them is with paper towels. Slice the filets into squares or rectangles small enough to fit into your air fryer.
Step 2: Walleye Filet Wash and breading
Have 3 separate bowls ready. Crack 2 eggs and put into a bowl. Place flower into a bowl. Mix pepper, garlic, paprika, and salt in a bowl, along with your breading of choice. There are different options for breading, the most popular is panko or breadcrumbs. Dip each piece of walleye into the flour first, then the egg wash, then the breading mixture.
Step 3: Air Frying Walleye Filets
Spray the air fryer tray with non-stick cooking spray. Place the coated filets in the pan, making sure there is space between each filet. This will allow air movement as the filets cook. Cook for 9-10 minutes on 400 degrees F. Repeat the process if you have multiple batches. The fish should look golden brown.
